Ewww... sticky kid hands.

I substitute teach sometimes, and there is one thing that grosses me out... little kids' sticky germy hands.  I've noticed that virtually every single teacher I sub for has a Costco size bottle of hand sanitizer on her desk, which is great, for the kids.  But if I were a teacher, I would want my own sanitizer, one that smells good, and doesn't dry out my skin.

Introducing Scentsy's Fragrance Foam.  I love this stuff.  It is like a lotion with antibacterial stuff in it.  I don't know what makes it antibacterial, I just know that it smells great, and doesn't dry my skin out.  I wouldn't share it with the kids, let them use the huge warehouse bottle of Purell.  For me though, I'll take the "Lucky in Love" Scentsy Fragrance Foam.
You can buy some of your own Fragrance Foam HERE.

My Buddy!

This is Lenny, the lamb.  Lenny is my favorite Scentsy Buddy.  I bought him for myself.  He sits on my bed and makes my bed and room smell nice, plus, he's cuddly.  Lenny currently has the "Perfectly Pomegranate" scent pack which smells sweet and inviting.

I love Lenny!

Get your own Lenny (or Penny, or Roarbert) HERE.

Scentsy Samplers

I am sending off some Scentsy samplers today and thought I would share these amazing little treasures with you. One week, several months ago, I spent several days melting each of the over 80 Scentsy scents and pouring them into these little plastic discs. Then I labeled them and put them into Scentsy "Party-on-the-Go" kits! Actually, I change the name of the kit every time. Sometimes I refer to them as "Do-It-Yourself-Parties", sometimes they are "Catalog Parties with samples", sometimes I call them a "Basket Party", but no matter what they are called, they are fabulous.

I simply include a full set of Scentsy scents, some catalogs, and order forms and I ship it off to my hostess. She has her party her own way. Most people take them to work for several days, send them to work with their spouse, and then culminate with a home party. They can easily gather up orders up to $600-$1000. This results in the hostess earning anywhere from 10% - 15% of the total orders in free Scentsy product credit. With a $500 party that is $75 in free Scentsy products. Plus, they also earn multiple 1/2 price items.

If you would like to try these out, even if you don't want to have a big party, you just want to smell all the amazing scents, contact me and I will send you the kit. You can have your own "Enjoy-'Em-My-Way" party!  Click HERE to learn more!

Scentsy Convention!

I just got back from Scentsy's annual convention.  This year it was held in Denver, CO and it was so much fun!  We laughed, danced, cheered, and we were motivated, inspired, and educated.  I feel so excited about my business!

We started with a big tailgate party with lots of music, dancing, even a marching band.  At the party the next five Collegiate warmers were announced which made a lot of people so excited! We now have: Auburn, Alabama, Ohio, Texas, and South Carolina!

The party was rounded out with tons of tailgate party foods, karaoke, and dancing!  What a blast!

At the general sessions we heard new product announcements, including the Patriot Collection, a collection of warmers honoring the service men and women in our military branches.  We also learned about some new products including the scent packs and my favorite... the Scentsy Buddies.  These are darling stuffed animals with a pocket in the back where a scent pack can be inserted to infuse the stuffed animal with a calm, soothing scent.
Our general sessions were also an opportunity to meet some of the companies top selling and top recruiting consultants!  I have to say that I felt proud to be one of the Directors called up on stage, and hope that next year I will be in the Star Director group.

Here are some pictures from the convention.

New Warmers!

I can't wait till next year in Fort Worth, TX!

They're Back!

Scentsy has had so many fabuslous scents over the years, and inevitably, they have to retire some of them now and then to make room for new ones. So this is the month to get those great retired scents. In a fun contest, Scentsy let customers and consultants vote on which scents to bring back. Then they narrowed them down to 20 scents. The list of the final twenty is in THIS POST. These make great gifts. I am getting several of the Newborn Nursery scents to go with a warmer for baby shower gifts - isn't that great? Perhaps Eggnog with one of our specialty Christmas warmers that will come out in November? Or best of all, a Cheerful Day Scentsy Bar with a warmer for a wedding gift! Perfect!

The kicker is this, you have only ONE MONTH to buy them. This month, July, 2010. So go to this LINK to place your order for one of THESE fabulous scents. Now!
